I was just typing to Albany Dan about how I had nothing to post about, and how my life was infinitely boring. I was telling him that I was going to get offline and do some reading for my class tomorrow... but before I got off, I decided to look at the AOL link to the new Bachelor information... I wanted to see if any of the girls actually have jobs other than "sales" and "waitress" or "account executive." So lo and behold, I see that one of the girls is from none other than WILLIAMSVILLE. And she is 25. And her name is Angela... So I look at the photo, and oh my, I went to high school with this person. She was in my gym class.
so for all of you who aren't addicted to the West Wing, watch the Bachelor tonight and see Ms. Angela (no last names, remember?) talk about her days as a hostess at Hooters on Maple Road.
Comments, Anyone?

Yeah, I wasn't sure, either. Looks/sounds sorta familira, though.

This sheds some light on it: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20030325/1033930.asp

yes- that's the last name.
i wonder if the Amherst restaurant is Hooters.
Anyway, she was not in any of the scenes previewing the season at the end of last nights episode, so i doubt she makes it very far, if past the first cut.
still, so weird.

Hi Guys,
Google is amazing.
I'm sitting on my couch in Brooklyn (shamefully) wathing the Bachelor and just did a quick search to confirm my suspicion. It IS her!
love from New York,
Julia C

Hi Jules, glad to hear from you. I still have no idea who this girl is, but apparently she was a waitress at the Pizza Plant.
We spent so many days there... for me, NO IDEA.
Also, let's say her name: Angela [redacted]. She's a public figure, so I think we can talk about her all we want!

I guess she didn't wow him with her knowledge of
fine Italian food!
This site is great. We did a book recently- although in a totally different genre- based on the webisite vivianlives.com.

I can't believe you fucking people made me feel like I missed out on something for not watching The Bachelor.
Hey, Julia. Good to see you. How goes it?

Things are good, and depressing. I'm burned out on the war. We had a major anthrax scare at work this week (I thought thrax was passe! ). I've been out of the Columbia hood for almost a year and live with Tom in Brooklyn. I want a cat.
How are you?

so glad to see everyone catching up.

Dude, thrax is SO passe, which leads one to wonder whether Random House is out of the cultural loop. (Incidentally, if they're looking for HOT young writers, I think I could probably find you one). I want a dog.
